The game of Poker is based on several games, but still nobody can say for sure what these games are.
Poker can originate from some Chinese or Persian game. According to some books and dictionaries the game came from France. New Poker variations such as Stud, Draw and Straight Pokers enjoyed wide popularity during the Wild West period of the US history.
