A 52-card deck without Jokers is used in the game of Poker. Poker can be said to be a game of luck and chance. Sure there are a lot of professional players out there but the chance is always the same for anybody to get the right cards or not. There is a table with maximum and minimum bets next to the dealer. You should read this table before you start playing. Each player makes at least the minimum bet and receives 5 cards face down. After the first deal players have to make bets. You must at least call to stay into the game. You can leave all the cards or you can throw away some of them. You can hold or throw away as many cards as you like. You will the same number of cards instead of those you have thrown away. Then there is the last deal, which is followed by the betting round. After the final betting round there is a showdown. The hands of the players are compared. The player with the strongest hand is the winner. Stud Poker Betting Round.
