The origin of Poker is still discussed, as nobody can say for sure from what games it originates.
Poker can originate from some Chinese or Persian game. According to some books and dictionaries the game came from France. China was the first country in which card games appeared, in Persia there was a game with 25 cards and 5 suits and in France gamblers began to use decks consisting of suits made from spades, diamonds, clubs, and hearts.
