A 52-card deck without Jokers is used in the game of Poker. Poker can be said to be a game of luck and chance. There are a lot of skilled and experienced poker players, but when it concerns the deal of the cards there is nothing they can do. Before you sit down at a poker table make sure to read the sign next to the dealer which shows the minimum table limit. Each player makes at least the minimum bet and receives 5 cards face down. The first deal is followed by the first betting round. You have to meet the highest bet to stay in the game. Then you have to decide which cards you want to keep and which to discard. You can hold all the cards as well as discard all of them. You will the same number of cards instead of those you have thrown away. Then the second deal and the betting round follow.
