The game of Poker is played with a 52-card deck. Poker can be said to be a game of luck and chance. There are a lot of skilled and experienced poker players, but when it concerns the deal of the cards there is nothing they can do. There is a table with maximum and minimum bets next to the dealer. You should read this table before you start playing. Each player makes at least the minimum bet and receives 5 cards face down. The first deal is followed by the first betting round. You must at least call to stay into the game. It is up to the player to decide which cards he wants to keep and which to throw away. You can hold or throw away as many cards as you like. After everybody on the table decides which cards they want to hold or discard, the dealer deals the same amount of cards to each player as they threw away. Then the second deal and the betting round follow. The betting round is followed by the showdown, which determines the winner. The player with the strongest hand wins the pot.
